The most amazing thing that has happened (which I have blogged about already) was the birth of our first grandchild Ayden... what an amazing thing it is to be a grandparent.. being a parent is wonderful but I cannot describe the feelings when you become a grandparent. As I watch Ayden grow and learn new things I also watch Jake and Liz grow and learn as well. They are wonderful parents.
My princess started high school...and she is DRIVING.... oh boy where has the time gone.
Jeff and I celebrated 20 years yes that is right 20 years of marriage this past September. It seems like yesterday at times and at other times it seems like a lifetime.
As I sit here and think about everything.... I realize what a very lucky person I am...... to have a husband that works so very hard for our family.. a son that is also a hard worker to provide for Liz and Ayden..... a daughter that is so supportive and understanding.. she has such a love for everyone it amazes me.
As things have changed in our lives over the past year or so.. the hardest thing for me has been to let go.. you want to keep your kids under your wing and nver let go.. HOWEVER we need to let them spread their own wings and fly.

Man Sheila, I have to say I don't want my babies to grow up!! It makes me sad just thinking about how little your babies were when I first met you and now, THEY ARE ALL GROWN UP!
