Friends

Over the course of a lifetime we have many friends. Some come for a while then leave, almost like they are there just for that short time to help you through that certain part of your life. Then some of those "old" friends come back into your life and you can begin right where you left off so many years ago. You can talk to them just like you could all those years ago. I have rekindled many friendships over the past few months and those friendships mean the world to me.
My best friend since 5th grade (for over 25 years) has been Launie, she has and always will be my best friend and she will always be there for me day or night no matter where we are or what we are doing. We are like sisters. No matter how long it has been since we have seen each other or even talked to each other on the phone, all is the same as where we left off.

Millcreek Canyon

Yesterday we went up to Millcreek Canyon for a nice Sunday drive to look at the fall leaves. We hiked a little and had a nice picnic lunch. We had a really fun time.Jake was hesitant to go because he thought it was "stupid" but he ended up having a really good time. Jake loves to take pictures. We found this really cool tree where the root looked like a face. We waded in the river and took a silly picture of all of our feet. The dogs even had a good time.
We have decided to make it a yearly trip.

Toby Keith Concert

Last night we went to the Toby Keith concert, we went with our son Jake and his girlfriend Liz.WE had a great time.


I was able to get right next to the stage and take a few pictures of Toby.

I got him good!!!!

Jeff and I have been married for 19 years, and every year I try to do something in hopes to.. for lack of better words embarrass him. Now you would think that after 19 years of marriage he would catch on, but nope he never does.
This year I sent him a singing gorilla to work, boy was it fun, everyone was laughing and even though he was embarrassed he laughed too.

This Day I will marry my friend.......

On September 22, 1989 I married my best friend. Jeff is the most wonderful husband anyone could ever ask for. He is always there for me no matter what. I cannot believe it has been 19 years. Over the past 19 year we have had our good times and bad. We have and will always be very best friends.

My Cute Family

On Saturday we decided that we would go up to the Copper Mine. We have not been since Lindsee was very little and she is almost 15. My Dad retired from Kennecott back in 1998 and to tell you the truth that may have been that last time we were there. Boy has it changed. It is very fascinating to see what goes on up there.

09/11

All us us remember 09/11. What a terrible event that was in US history.

Every year since then our family goes by the Healing Field in Sandy.A few years ago Mark and Deb Nott (Mark used to work at Progressive Eye Care) asked if we would like to help put up the flags. (Deb used to work for Colonial Flag). Jake and Lindsee helped put them up and loved it. Even though it is very sad to see the number of people that lost their lives that day, it made an ever lasting impression on my kids.
