My Parents

I just want everyone to know what GREAT parents I have. They are always willing to help and give advice if you need it. As a parent my self I know that it is hard to let your children grow up. My parents have always let me learn from my mistakes and have always let me spread my own wings and fly. I do not know what I would do with out them. Sometimes I believe we take our family for granted.
I LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD!!!

Life

Last month my son lost a very dear friend, Treck. They have not seen each other in a while but stayed in touch with each other. We have reconnected with his family. It is too bad that it takes someones death to bring people together again.
Jake has had a really hard time with Treck's death, but we have watched him through this whole process and watched him grow for lack of better words. He has kept in contact with Treck's older brother Tyvan, which I think has helped them both with the grieving process.
WE LOVE YOU TRECK!!!! REST IN PEACE!!

The Zoo

My husband works for RC Willey, yesterday was his company party this year it was at the zoo. We had a ton of fun, even in the rain. Jeff is still a kid at heart and he rode the carousel with Lindsee. Just like Peter Pan he will NEVER grow up.

Days of 47

My mom had this great idea to go to the South Town Expo Center tonight to preview the floats from the Days of 47 parade. My Dad and Jeff were both at work so it was just Mom and I, Lindsee, Jake and his girlfriend Liz. It was a lot of fun. I have never paid much attention to the floats, but tonight I did and boy is there a lot of work involved in creating a float. The detail is amazing and some of the things used to create them is amazing as well. I would love to post all of the pictures we took but there are WAY to many.

Youth Conference

Jake just got back from youth conference. He had a great time. They went to Cokeville Wyoming. They did a service project for a family that has had a sick child, they rode horses and the VERY BEST of all Jake met Elder L. Tom Perry. He said how cool it was and he even got to shake his hand. Although when Elder Perry asked Jake the 8th article of faith guess what? You guessed it Jake did not know it. I guess he better study them.

My Honey

I have to tell you I have the worlds greatest husband. He is SO good to me and I probably do not tell him enough how much I appreciate him and all he does for our family.
He is a really hard worker and NEVER complains.
I LOVE HIM!!!

My Mom and Dad's dogs

My parents dogs think all they need to do is swim, they will even try to save us if we are under water too long. crazy don't ya think? We really have a lot of fun with them.

Lindsee

Talk about kids getting older. Lindsee is in the 9th grade at Monticello Academy a charter school. She is doing GREAT and loves her school, she is even learning Chinese and she does pretty good at it. She has developed and interest in those YUCKY boys, but she would probably deny it if you asked her.

Jake's Birthday

Wow!! Jake is 17. I can't believe it. He is a senior and is planning on joining the Marines soon. He will be joining the DEP program also know as the delayed entry program. When he does this he will have his choice of jobs. I have had a few people ask me how I feel about him joingin the Marines, well to tell you the truth it scares me to death, but I am really proud of him.
